New Introduced Road Sweeping Machine

एमसीडी की 900 किमी सड़कों की सफाई मिकैनिकल स्वीपर से होगी। 60 फुट से ज्यादा चौड़ी मुख्य सड़कों के लिए 32 मशीनें सड़कों पर उतारी गई हैं।

इसका उद्घाटन बीजेपी के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष विजेंद्र गुप्ता ने गुरुवार को पूसा रोड, करोल बाग में किया। मौके पर मेयर रजनी अब्बी भी मौजूद थीं।

गुप्ता ने बताया कि इन मशीनों से शहर को साफ-सुथरा रखने में मदद मिलेगी। ये मशीनें सुबह होने से पहले ही सड़कों की सफाई कर देंगी। रजनी अब्बी ने बताया कि ये मशीनें सभी 12 जोनों में काम करेंगी। फायदा होने पर और मशीनें खरीदी जाएंगी।

सदन के नेता सुभाष आर्य ने बताया कि मिकैनिकल स्वीपर की खासियत है कि इसमें सफाई के साथ पानी का छिड़काव होता रहता है जिससे धूल नहीं उडे़गी। स्थायी समिति के अध्यक्ष योगेंद्र चंदोलिया ने बताया कि साउथ, नजफगढ़, करोलबाग, पश्चिमी, रोहिणी और नरेला जोन में छह मशीनों को लगाया जाएगा, जहां सड़कों की चौड़ाई 100 फुट से ज्यादा है। इस तरह कुल 132.81 कि.मी. सड़कों की सफाई मशीनों से होगी। छह मशीनों को सेंट्रल, सिटी, सदर पहाड़गंज, शाहदरा (दक्षिणी), शाहदरा (उत्तरी) क्षेत्रों में लगाया जाएगा, जहां सड़कों की चौड़ाई 100 फुट से अधिक है। इसके तहत करीब 113.40 कि.मी. लंबी सड़कें कवर होंगी।

स्विमिंग नहीं आती लेकिन पानी में रहना पसंद है तो वॉटर वॉक से अच्छा कुछ नहीं। इसमें आप पानी में चल सकते हैं , बैठ सकते हैं और ना तो गीले होने की फिक्र ना डूबने का डर। दिल्ली टूरिज्म ने वर्ल्ड टूरिजम डे के मौके पर पुराना किला और भलस्वा लेक में वॉटर वॉक की शुरुआत की है। दिल्ली - एनसीआर में अब तक यह मजा कहीं नहीं था , पहली बार दिल्ली वाले अपने ही शहर में इसका मजा ले सकेंगे। इसकी फीस 15 मिनट के लिए 100 रुपये रखी गई है।

वॉटर वॉक का मजा लेने के लिए पहले आपको बड़े से ट्रांस्पैरेंट बलून ( वॉटर वॉकिंग बॉल ) में बैठाया जाएगा , फिर इसे पंप से हवा देकर फुलाएंगे। जैसे - जैसे यह फूलने लगेगा आपको बलून के अंदर खड़े होना होगा। जब बलून फूल जाएगा , तो आप वॉटर वॉक के लिए तैयार हैं। हालांकि , इसमें बैलेंस बनाना इतना आसान भी नहीं है। जैसे ही आप बलून के अंदर पहला कदम बढ़ाएंगे तो डगमगाने लगेंगे। बलून आगे बढ़ेगा और आप भी। लेकिन बलून के अंदर गिरने का भी अपना ही मजा है। आप पानी के ऊपर हैं जो चाहे कर सकते हैं। चाहे पानी के ऊपर बैठ जाएं , घुटनों के बल चलें या फिर खड़े होकर। बलून में एक रस्सी बंधी होती है जब आपको वापस आना हो तो हाथ से इशारा कर दें , किनारे खड़े गाइड रस्सी से खींचकर आपको वापस ले आएंगे। बलून के अंदर कोई शॉर्प चीज पहनकर नहीं जा सकते।

दिल्ली टूरिज्म ने मंगलवार को इसकी शुरूआत की। इसे देखने काफी संख्या में लोग भी जुट गए। कई ने वॉक भी की लेकिन ज्यादातर बलून के अंदर बैठकर ही पानी में मस्ती करते दिखे। बलून के अंदर बैलेंस गड़बड़ाने से बलून के अंदर बैठे शख्स को जितना मजा आ रहा था , उतना ही मजा बाहर से देखने वाले भी उठा रहे थे। दिल्ली टूरिजम के पीआर मैनेजर सुधीर सोबती ने कहा कि इससे टूरिस्टों भी आकर्षित होंगे और दिल्ली वालों के लिए तो यह नया अनुभव है ही। उन्होंने बताया कि कि हम सभी झीलों में सुविधाएं बढ़ाने की योजना बना रहे हैं , जल्द ही हम नए वॉटर स्पोर्ट्स भी शुरू करेंगे।

At least eight of the 17 regions of the Philippines were hit by Typhoon PEDRING (international codename: Nesat), displacing thousands of Filipinos because of the heavy rains and ensuing floods. As it leaves the country, we'll find out the full extent of the damages it caused and its corresponding health consequences. Let's look at these definitions carefully.

"Progressive" means that success is a journey, not a destination. We never arrive. After we reach one goal, we go on to the next and the next and the next.

"Realization" means it is an experience. Outside forces cannot make me feel successful. I have to feel it within myself. It is internal not external.

"Worthy" refers to our value system. Which way are we heading? Positive or negative? Worthiness determines the quality of the journey. That is what gives meaning and fulfillment. Success without fulfillment is empty. Why?

"Goals" are important. Because they give us a sense of direction. Success does not mean being accepted by everyone.

There are some groups I would not want to be accepted by, out of choice. I would rather be criticized by fools than appreciated by unsavory characters. I define success as a manifestation of good luck that results from inspiration, aspiration, desperation and perspiration; generally in that sequence. Success and happiness go hand in hand.

Success is getting what you want and happiness is wanting what you get!
